In line with its export promotion strategy and with a view to enhance visibility on the healthcare and life sciences sector in Mauritius, the Economic Development Board (EDB) conducted an export of services promotion mission in Seychelles from 13th to 15th May 2024.
The Mauritian delegation comprised the following companies: Aegle Onco Care Centre Ltd, Biswal Trading Ltd, C-Care (Mauritius) Ltd, Les Mariannes Wellness Sanctuary, Pure Health Women and Family Wellness, ProCare Medical Laboratory and Royal Green Hospital.
The Business Forum held on 14th May 2024 provided the ideal platform to the Mauritian delegation to showcase the range of healthcare services offered currently by their respective companies. Targeted B2B meetings were also held with the representatives of the healthcare industry in a view to exchange ideas and explore business opportunities with different counterparts in both Mauritius and Seychelles.
The event saw the participation of healthcare professionals, businessmen, and key industry stakeholders. There was significant interest among the attendees in the range of healthcare treatments and services offered by the Mauritian delegation. Discussions and interactions covered various topics, including the sourcing of healthcare professionals and potential collaborations between private clinics in Mauritius and Seychelles.
